כללי:
מחלקה ה' הינה מחלקה אקוטית פעילה סגורה ונמצאת בבנין הרב תכליתי בצמוד לחדר המיון. המחלקה נותנת שירותי אשפוז מלאים במגוון טיפולים (פרטני,קבוצתי סוציאלי וריפוי בעיסוק) לאוכלוסיה בוגרת (18-65) שחלה אצלם החרפה פעילה במצבם המחייבת אשפוז. המחלקה מטפלת באוכלוסיה מעורבת (נשים/גברים) ומחלוקת בהתאם לאגף נשים ולאגף גברים, כשבמרכזם תחנת האחיות השולטת על מרחבי האגף. הצוות הרפואי לצד מנהל המחלקה כולל רופאים מומחים ומתמחים, צוות סעודי וצוות רב מקצועי. המחלקה בנויה בסטנדרט גבוה עם חדרי אשפוז צמודי שירותים ומקלחת, המאכלסים 2-3 מטופלים . לרשות המטופלים והצוות עומדים חדרי ריפוי בעיסוק מרווחים ומצוידים, חדרי ישיבות, משרדים, חצר רחבה ומטופחת, חדרי משפחות (ביקורים) ומרחבים גדולים המשרים אוירה פתוחה ומרגיעה.
חדר בידוד מרופד: ברשות המחלקה חדר טיפולי מרופד המשרת מטופלים בהם נדרשת התערבות מוגבלת לצורך בידוד והרגעה המשרים בטחון על המטופל וסביבתו.
המחלקה מספקת את כל צרכי המטופלים בנוסף לציודם האישי.

שעות ביקורים – 12:00-20:00 פגישות עם הצוות המטפל בתיאום מראש טלפון ציבורי במחלקה – 04/6278752/8 תחבורה ציבורית לביה"ח – מידע בעמוד הבית (כיצד להגיע).
תהליך הקליטה במחלקה:
קבלה ע"י הצוות הסיעודי. קביעת הרופא המטפל הערכה ואבחון פסיכיאטרי. ראיון בהשתתפות הצוות הרבה מקצועי לאבחון,קביעת טיפול ותוכנית טיפולית. התוכנית הטיפולית נרשמת ע"י רופא , עובד סוציאלי, הצוות הסעודי המטפל האישי.
עבודת צוות וסדר יום תוכנית טיפולית
בפעילויות המחלקה משתתף כל הצוות הרב מקצועי. מתקיימת ישיבת רפורט בכל בוקר (30 דקות) לדיון בבעיותיהם של המטופלים.
ישיבת אינטק, בדיקה ראשונית לחולה חדש במחלקה בהשתתפות הצוות הרב מקצועי.
ביקור "חם" בהשתתפות הצוות הרב מקצועי מתקיים פעם בשבוע (ראיון קצר של כל המטופלים במחלקה עדכון ותיאום התכנית הטיפולית).
אחת לשבוע דיון על חולים העמידים לטפול או עם בעיות מיוחדות (ישיבת צוות רב מקצועי) דיונים על התוכנית הטיפולית של המחלקה ועדכון חידושים בפסי כאטרייה.
טפול פרטני ע"י רופא מטפל, פסיכולוגיות, עובדת סוציאלית.
פגישות ושיחות עם משפחות המטופלים.
סדר יום במחלקה : מצ"ב טבלא
קבוצות:
קבוצת הענות תרופתית- בקבוצה זו משוחחים על מהות הטיפול, תופעות לוואי לטיפול תרופתי והקשרים לטיפול התרופתי והלא תרופתי
קבוצת התמודדות- מתקיימת פעם בשבוע במחלקה.
המטופלים במחלקה מחולקים לשלוש קבוצות לפי שפת אם(עברית, רוסית וערבית).
לכל קבוצה מנחים קבועים מהסקטורים המקצועיים השונים במחלקה (רופאים, פסיכולוגיות, צוות סיעודי ומרפאות בעיסוק).
בקבוצות אלו מעלים המטופלים בין היתר קשיים ודרכי התמודדות עם מחלתם, עם האשפוז הנוכחי ועם החיים מחוץ למחלקה.
קבוצת הגיינה- ADL בקבוצה זו מדריכים את המטופלים לגבי חשיבותה של ההיגיינה האישית והסביבתית.
קבוצת שיקום- קבוצה בעלת אוריינטציה שיקומית בה דנים במשותף עם המטופלים על הנושאים המגוונים הקשורים לתהליך, בהתייחס לשיקום דיורי, תעסוקתי וחברתי.
קבוצת אירגונית- כלל מחלקתית:
קבוצה המתקיימת פעם בשבוע בנוכחותם של כל המטופלים והצוות הרב מקצועי במחלקה.
הקבוצה מונחית על ידי פסיכולוגית ונציג מהצוות הסיעודי.
הקבוצה היא מעין ישיבה של המטופלים והצוות בה עולים לדיון נושאים הקשורים לחיי היום יום במחלקה כגון: יחסים בין המטופלים לצוות, יחסים בין המטופלים לבין עצמם, נהלי המחלקה והערות/הארות על השירותים השונים שמספקת המחלקה.
עבודת הצוות הפסיכולוגי במחלקה:
שתי הפסיכולוגיות במחלקה מקיימות כעשרים פגישות מידי שבוע עם
המטופלים ומספקים: אבחונים פסיכולוגיים, טיפולים פרטניים ובמקרה
הצורך גם התערבות משפחתית.
הנחיית קבוצות: פעם בשבוע הנחיית קבוצה קטנה- קבוצת התמודדות
פעם בשבוע הנחיית קבוצה מחלקתית בשיתוף הצוות הסעודי ובנוכחות הצוות הרבה מקצועי.
מתן הדרכה לסטודנטים לסיעוד לפי פנייה.
מערכות נהלי בקרה:
בנוסף לנוהלי החובה בהתאם לנוהלי ביה"ח ומערכת הבריאות מתקיימים מערכת נוהלי בקרה כדלקמן:
תוך 12 שעות בקבלה למחלקה: אבחון והערכה ראשונית.
מדי יום דיווח שוטף על תהליך הקליטה והטפול.
תוך 3 ימים סיום קליטת המטפל/ת.
תוך שבוע דיון על המטופל.
לקראת שחרור השמה למסגרות טיפוליות אחרות.
במחלקה משתמשים בתיק ממוחשב Prometheus
אקדמיה הדרכה והשתלמות
מנהל המחלקה, פרופסור מיכאל רייצנר הינו בעל שם עולמי בתחומו. מחקריו וספריו מתפרסמים בכל העולם ופרסומיו מוצאים את ביטויים בעיתונאי הרפואה החשובים בעולם. פרופסור ריצנר הינו יו"ר ועדת ההתמחות בשער מנשה והצלחת המתמחים בבחינות שלב א' ו-ב' רק מעידה על טיב ההכשרה. צוות המחלקה נוטל חלק בהכשרת מתמחים וסטודנטים לרפואה מהטכניון, ומדריכים קליניים מכשירים סטודנטים לסיעוד מכל רחבי הארץ. עובד חדש המתקבל למחלקה מקבל הדרכה מקצועית מסודרת בלווי איש צוות בכיר מהמחלקה.
